St: Thomas College Pala has a strong and vibrant NCC programme which strives to:

• Develop leadership, build strength of character, comradeship, spirit of sportsmanship and ideal of service;

• Create a force of disciplined and trained persons who could, in a national emergency, be of assistance to the country;

• Provide training to students with a view to developing in them officer-like qualities, thus also enabling them to obtain commissions in the armed forces.

St: Thomas college Pala NCC Company has a total strength of 160 cadets all enrolled in the Army Wing. The NCC unit of St: Thomas college Pala is proud that one of its senior cadets has been commissioned as Officer in the Indian Army , Cadet Participated in the international  Youth Exchange Programme held  at Kazakhstan , and cadet attended Republic parade  in  New Delhi in January 2017(Raj Path March team)

NCC of St: Thomas college Pala organizes combined annual training camps. B and C Certificate Examinations are conducted at the end of the second and third year of NCC training, respectively. The cadets selected on the basis of high sense of duty, discipline and smart turnout are permitted participation in various activities, and amongst them are the Independence Day Parade, NCC Rally, Republic Day Camp, the Prime Minister's Rally and the President's At Home.

NCC army wing of st Thomas college Pala possess an enrolled strength of 160 during the academic year 2017-18.

1.     Yoga day celebration June 21, this year 82 cadets participated in International Yoga Day held at our college

1,SUO Akhil Thomas attended Republic Camp in  New Delhi in January 2017

2,SUO Krishna raj M attended Republic Camp in  New Delhi in January 2018

3,UO Lovin George Kuruvila attended Mavlankar Shooting  Camp at West Bengal in September

4,UO Vyshnav Santhosh , UO Ashish Josekutty and UO Krishna raj  participated in IGC RDC Camp in October`

5, UO Lovin George Kuruvila attended Adventure Mountaineering Camp at HMI Darjeeling and won Gold in cross country race and best patrol competitions and silver in rock climbing in November

6, Our unit won Second Position In Inter-Company Guard competition at Labour India Public School Marangattupilly 

7, SUO Jomy Thomas attended OTA KAMPTEE SSB Screening Camp.

8, UO Vyshnav Santhosh SNIC Camp at Kavarathi , Lakshadep

9. UO Tony attended Inter Group Shooting Championship and won Best Firer Award .

Certificate Exam Result

1.     28 cadets were attended NCC C certificate exam and all of them were cleared the same

2.     Among 57 cadets attended the B certificate exam 51 cadets cleared the exam
